Is Richard Dawkins Still Evolving?
Ever since I wrotemy review of The God Delusion, I have been following Dawkins with interest. Imagine my surprise when I readthis report, which suggests that Dawkins may be evolving from an atheist into a deist.
A single organism cannot evolve. You would need a gene pool of Dawkins variants for this to happen. The Dawkins organisms would then need to breed with each other for many generations before you noticed any difference. You can make up your own story from here.
In any case deism is still a long way from theism and a personal god. For christians this would be a welcome step in the right direction.
Does that mean that Richard Dawkins is no longer the very model of an Atheist Supremacist? ;-)

Never fear, Dawkins is still the poster child of the new atheism. Consistency has never been a necessary component of atheism.
