Some books we’ve recently read with our children:
Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage to the Antarctic, by Alfred Lansing. An excellent story of adventure, heroism and courage. Especially suitable for boys.
The Wind in the Willows, by Kenneth Grahame. One of my all time favourites, right up there with Narnia and Lord of the Rings (well, nearly).
