Don Feder has an article on why Homosexuals and children don't mix very well. His article, HOMOSEXUALS HAVE EASTER BUNNY IN THEIR SIGHTS is worth reading. He makes the point that homosexuals are far more likely to molest children than heterosexuals. Evidence for this is seen in the following facts.
The Jay and Young study (which was conducted by ‘gay’ activists and then endorsed by the homosexual community) questioned 5,000 gay persons of all ages and from all walks of life. They found that 23% of homosexuals admitted to having had sex with children aged 13 to 15. This is far freater than the number of heterosexuals who have sex with children.
In the cases where minors were sexually abused by priests, 80% involved same-sex encounters. Given that homosexuals are roughly 3% of the population, you would have expected 97% of male abusers to be victimizing females. The reason this wasn't the case is because homosexuals are far more likely to abuse children than heterosexuals.
There is no movement among heterosexuals to abolish the age of consent. Yet at almost every gay-rights parade, there is someone representing the North American Man-Boy Love Association (whose motto is ‘Sex Before 8, or It’s Too Late’).
Further evidence that homosexuals are more likely to sexually abuse children than heterosexuals can be found in the article "Study finds disproportionate abuse by 'gays'".
This puts the gay adoption question in a much different light I think.
